The Tree of Life Cuff
The Tree of Life Cuff harkens back to times long past when we were much more in touch with the natural world around us. The pagan beliefs of the Celts had a similar root across all of northern Europe. Indeed many myths see the tree as the center of the universe.
The Norse have Yggdrasil the world tree is another example. It is the center of the nine worlds. Shamans across the globe climb the sacred tree to go on astral journeys in their spiritual quests. The flowing form of the Celtic tree’s branches and roots represent harmony and balance. The tree of life (nature) permeates every part of our lives. Our ancient ancestors had an intimate relationship with nature. The natural world is to be revered and the importance of nature to life is reflected in their use of this symbol.
